Important Note: My shipping software estimates costs a bit high when you order more than one item. Please know that I will refund any shipping differences immediately after shipping your order! I am not in this to earn money by gouging you with shipping!

Calgary Residents!

All residents of Calgary Alberta get free shipping. In order to receive your free shipping, you must contact me via phone or email with your order. Thank you!

Tell me about the free shipping specials!

Items found in the free shipping specials, or that state clearly that they have free shipping, will not come with any shipping charges. When they are the only items ordered, you will not incur any shipping fees. When combined with other items, they will not add to the shipping fees of your other non-free-shipping items. I hope that makes sense, but if not, please contact me with your questions!

How is shipping calculated?

All items are shipped via Canada Post. During the checkout process, you will be presented with a choice of shipping options with prices varying depending on your choice of delivery method.

Shipping prices are calculated in real time using Canada Post's shipping tables and the estimated weight and dimensions of your package. Due to the nature of estimating shipping, it is hard for the module to calculate shipping if you are purchasing multiple items. If for any reason the actual shipping fees I pay to ship your package work out to less than the amount you paid, I will REFUND the difference.

I do not charge handling fees, nor charge you for packing materials. I try hard to use recycled boxes and packing materials when possible.

When will my package be shipped?

My business hours are Monday through Friday, and I do my best to package and ship your order within two business days of receiving it. If you have selected to have your item shipped by Priority Courier, I will do my best to ship your package the day that I receive your order, or first thing the following morning. You will receive an email to tell you when your item has been sent.

International Orders

Please note that I cannot be held responsible for any incurred fees, duties, taxes or tariffs that may be assessed due to shipping a package outside of Canada.

RETURNS

My order arrived damaged. What happens now?

If your order is damaged on arrival, please contact me within five days of it's delivery, and I will arrange it's return. The item must be shipped back to me with all pieces included, carefully wrapped and packaged in it's original packaging. When the item arrives back at Vintage Picnic, I will arrange a refund for the amount you paid for the item, plus the amount paid to ship it back to me. I want you to be happy with your purchases, and we all know that occasionally, things break during shipping. I would never leave you the disappointed owner of a broken product!

Other Returns:

If you decide for any reason that you are unhappy with your purchase within five days of receiving it, you may return it back to me in it's original packaging with all included paperwork. The customer is responsible for all shipping fees, including the shipping fees incurred on first ordering the item, and the shipping fees to send it back. The item must be returned in it's original condition. You may choose any shipping carrier of your choice. Please email me as soon as you've decided to return the product so that I can expect it's arrival. On receiving the return it it's original condition and packaging, I will arrange for a full refund of the purchase price of the item, minus the original shipping fees.

PAYMENT

Regarding payment with a cheque or money order.

When paying with a cheque or money order, your item will be shipped after the payment clears the bank. This can be anywhere from fifteen to thirty days. I will have your package wrapped and ready to go so that the moment things clear, your package can be sent.
